A COCKTAIL WITH HAVET.
As many of you know Havet is literally my favourite restaurant EVER and has been since it open in Tonbridge a many years ago. I've become quite the regular and might as well have shares in the place. Not only do they serve the most delicious foods they also have one of the best cocktail menus this town currently has on offer, at affordable prices too! I thought I'd take this opportunity to share some of those with you all.
I'll start with a Mojito - Made with Bacardi, Sugar Syrup, Mint, Lime and Soda. Havet have three different variations of the cocktail avaliable on the menu; Strawberry, Passionfruit and of course a Classic. My favourite has to be the passionfruit just because I prefer my drinks a little sweeter.
Next we have the Pornstar Martini - Who doesn't love a Martini? Made with Vanilla Vodka, Passionfruit Juice & Passoa with a shot of Prosecco thrown in for good measure this drink really is essential for a night out with the girls. My question to you is - Do you shot your Prosecco or pour it in?
Followed by a Purple Rain. Made with Vodka, Blue Curacao, Grenadine and Lemonade. This cocktail reminds me of an alcoholic slush puppy! My friend Meg is absolutely obsessed with them and is probably the reason I'm a huge fan!
Moving on to two new favourites of mine, a Mai Tai & Sail on By. The Mai Tai is made with Rum, Cointreau, Orange & Pinapple juice, Lime and Grenadine. And the Sail on By is made with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Orange Juice, Lime, Mint and Brown Sugar. They may look very similar but the flavours are completely different once mixed together. It's pretty obvious that I love anything Rum based so I may as well identify as a pirate.
Last up we have the Cosmopolitan. Made with Vodka, Cointreau, Lime Juice and Cranberry Juice. Now I've not always enjoyed a Cosmo as naturally I enjoy a sweeter drink but I must admit this classy cocktail really is the perfect combination of sweet and sour.
